Adyat Association is a Syrian cultural association that works in several cities, including the city of Tartous, where it was founded in  2003. The association works specifically in the field of history and heritage protection, both material and intangible, and in raising awareness within local communities about archaeological sites and heritage. It seeks to contribute to nurturing an identity based on an awareness of the historical personality of Syria and its various civilizational manifestations.

This platform is powered by Sharq.Org, a non-profit organization that aims to promote and strengthen pluralism and independent thought throughout the Arab world. Our mission is to strengthen the ability of people in the Arab world to hear and be heard and to engage in honest productive interactions. We do so by developing opportunities for citizens to learn the skills needed for productive expression and debate and providing opportunities for people to apply such skills and interact fruitfully with others.
